About Our Program

The Choirs of Los Altos High School, made up of 100 dedicated student musicians who love singing and performing, have a long tradition of excellence in music. The students in our award-winning choir program receive a well-rounded choral music education, one that includes rehearsing and performing traditional concert choir music in addition to show choir music.

If you are looking for a choir program to truly enhance your high school experience, look no further than the Choirs of Los Altos High School. Our students perform their choir concerts in the beautiful, state-of-the-art Hacienda Heights Community Center, compete in show choir competitions with our own live band, perform at Disneyland, participate in SCVA choir festivals and other festivals, participate in honor choirs, including the California All-State Honor Choirs, produce Broadway musicals, and perform around the community.

The Choirs of Los Altos have a full-time accompanist who rehearses with our students daily; and our students get to work with renowned professional choreographers. Additionally, Los Altos is the only high school in our school district to offer a competitive show choir experience, Men’s Choir, and AP Music Theory.

Although students involved in the Choirs of Los Altos have a demanding rehearsal and performance schedule, many are still able to manage to participate in the other fine organizations offered at LAHS:

…and many other clubs and activities!
